Queen Rosalinda Lopez Nestor
Rosalinda Lopez Nestor, a senior at Warrenton High School, was crowned the Astoria Regatta Queen in 2024 during a coronation ceremony at the Liberty Theatre. Her journey to the crown included delivering a heartfelt speech about Barbara Roberts, Oregon's first female governor, showcasing her admiration for strong female leaders. Rosalinda's participation in the Regatta Court reflects her dedication to community engagement and her pride in her Latina heritage.
Beyond her role as Regatta Queen, Rosalinda cherishes family walks, storytelling, and music with her parents and older sister. She finds joy in exploring Astoria's landmarks, beaches, and historical sites, which deepen her connection to Clatsop County. Her creative pursuits include making clay figures and painting, often shared with her family.
Rosalinda's favorite activity is serving as a teacher's aide in a kindergarten class, where she delights in witnessing the progress of young learners. She eagerly anticipates the 4th of July parade, a cherished event that brings back fond childhood memories. Her multifaceted interests and community involvement make her a remarkable ambassador for the Astoria Regatta and her hometown.

Princess Lily Helligso
Junior, Astoria HS
Lily Helligso, a vibrant and accomplished student, brings her enthusiasm and dedication to the 2025 Astoria Regatta Court as Princess. A proud member of the Astoria community, Lily admires the kindness and support shared among its residents. She highlights how local businesses, from coffee shops to boutiques, foster creativity and are strengthened by community backing. This support has been crucial for Lily and her Pizazz Dance Team, helping them travel and achieve milestones such as their 2024 State Championship title, guided by coaches Emily Madsen and Maia Mahoney.
Beyond school, Lily showcases her artistic talents through the Little Ballet Theatre Dance Company at Maddox Dance Studio. During summers, she volunteers at the Friends of Suomi Hall Children's School, connecting with kids and deepening her appreciation of her Finnish heritage, inspired by her grandmother, Dea. A former Jr. Miss Finland, Lily embraces her cultural roots while enjoying babysitting, traveling with her family, and exploring new recipes during Sunday family dinners.
Lily also cherishes her role in her high school's mentorship program, fostering meaningful connections with elementary students, and values the relationships she has built with her teachers, principals, and peers. As a Princess on the Regatta Court, Lily looks forward to engaging with her community, building friendships within the Court, and experiencing events like the Starlight Parade. Chantrell Lee, a junior at Seaside High School, embodies curiosity, community spirit, and a love for nature as a 2025 Astoria Regatta Princess. Chantrell cherishes her close-knit family, including her twin sister Brenna, with whom she shares a love for music and outdoor adventures. From bird-watching to cooking and laughing with her parents, and engaging in crossword puzzles with her Grandpa, Chantrell deeply values the bonds that shape her life.
A passionate advocate for her community, Chantrell has actively contributed to projects like creating planter boxes at Seaside High School, relying on the generous support of local businesses and neighbors. She sees community as more than proximity—it's about selflessness and shared efforts to make life better for everyone.
Outside of school, Chantrell channels her love for the environment through volunteering at Haystack Rock, where she studies tidepool ecosystems, and enjoys hiking and bird-watching in Clatsop County. Dance has been a lifelong passion, alongside track and field, where she excels in pole vaulting. Chantrell also balances her creative side with crocheting and working at The Nest bakery, where she delights in its welcoming atmosphere.

Despite having ten siblings through her parents’ remarriages, Frances is an only child, balancing the girly and athletic influences of her mother’s side with the outdoorsy and independent spirit of her father’s side—a blend she proudly embodies.
Frances thrives in her small-town community, appreciating the close-knit connections it fosters. She is deeply involved in extracurricular activities, serving as Varsity Girls Basketball Captain, a member of the track and volleyball teams, and holding the Publicity role on Student Council. Additionally, her involvement in clubs like Key Club and National Honor Society showcases her commitment to leadership and service.
Her passion for hosting assemblies and managing social media highlights her enthusiasm for bringing people together. Frances eagerly anticipates bonding with her fellow members of the Astoria Regatta Court and participating in parades, further strengthening her community ties. Aubrey Harrington, a junior at Knappa High School, brings her passion for community, family, and connection to her role as a 2025 Astoria Regatta Princess. Growing up in a tight-knit family, with her mother working at the school and her father coaching the high school football team, Aubrey has always cherished the love and support of her close circle. She enjoys spending quality time with her parents and her sports-loving younger brother, whether on family trips or movie nights.
Deeply proud of her hometown, Aubrey finds inspiration in Knappa’s warm and supportive community. She treasures the small-town atmosphere, where everyone shares a sense of belonging and neighbors eagerly celebrate one another’s achievements. Her active involvement includes decorating student sections, organizing sporting events, and capturing memories as part of the Knappa yearbook team. Volleyball, her favorite sport, holds a special place in her heart, alongside her love for babysitting—a reflection of her nurturing nature.
Aubrey thrives in the social aspects of school, finding joy and purpose in connecting with classmates and teachers. Her enthusiasm for history and appreciation for the supportive teaching staff highlight her positive outlook on learning. Outside of academics, she enjoys painting, shopping, writing, and spending time with friends.
